Software Quality Assurance Analyst

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will provide quality assurance and testing support to the software development team at the end of the software development lifecycle. This person will test multiple different ecommerce systems including websites, ERP system, and interfaces. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will also be responsible to creating and maintaining software development specifications and documentation. This person will also be responsible for performing daily data processing tasks.

  • Execute test plans to verify adherence to the company's development process and software requirement specifications
  • Develops quality assurance standards
  • Develops, publishes, and implements test plans
  • Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
  • Observing, testing, diagnosing and reporting faults in the software
  • Document and communicate testing activities and results
  • Performs manual testing for software functionality and usability
  • Translate user requirements into programming specifications
  • Performance of other duties as required
  • Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing technology
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed on an occasional basis
  • Have basic understanding of database fundamentals and software development life cycle

.NET Web Developer

Develop and maintain Applications using ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server 2005/2008, JavaScript, SSIS and other web development languages and technologies. Attention to detail with conservative approach to reduce exposure to failure is a must.

  • Design, develop, and deploy new database-driven web applications, and maintain existing web applications.
  • Develop, test, and maintain information architecture and UI for web-based applications and web site.
  • Collaborate with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure UI usability and integrity.
  • Assist in projects from idea to mock-up to launch.
  • Apply knowledge of industry trends in Web design best practices, accessibility standards and developments to improve service to our clients.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience developing web applications using .NET Frameworks, ASP.NET , SQL 2005/2008
  • 3+ years experience with SQL Server programming including T-SQL, stored procedures, SSIS packages, etc.
  • Proficient with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of the Web Development Life Cycle using agile techniques.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Experience using source control programs

Customer Service Representative

Answers inbound calls distributed by our automated call distribution (ACD) system. Keys orders, credits, notes, and other data into our Quick Order Processing (QOP) system. Makes outbound calls to customers, when needed.

Job Tasks:
  • Answers questions about product availability, product specifications, pricing, and other questions customers may have about items or orders.
  • Communicates with customers via phone and follows standard procedures for taking orders, catalog requests, catalog name removals, and other requests.
  • Resolves any problems customers had with their order, which includes but is not limited to making financial adjustments, re-shipping merchandise, and expediting an order.
  • Communicates problem resolution to customers and probes to ensure customer is satisfied with resolution.
  • Follows standard processes and procedures for referring an issue to support staff or other departments.
  • Adheres to work schedule, including any overtime that may be required.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
